I dump on average 5 to 6 bags a week in my feed pen. Not in 1 pile so 1 deer can’t control it. If corn is left the next week, I cut back, if it’s cleaned up I’ll put out another bag or 2. Wet spells make this a little more difficult.

I don’t use a feeder where I hunt in OK but not afraid to dump out 3-4 bags when I know I’m gonna be there for a few days. Coons love it I’m sure but to one previous posters point, we don’t have hogs.

All my friends in SC feed on the ground. Very, very few deer will visit feeders and they’ve been running them for 2 years. A very few does and you get bucks visit them, but that’s it. We have hogs and have been baiting on the ground like that since Jesus was a baby.
