Kimber with or without laser grips????

I have been wanting a little Kimber for every day carry for a long time. I found a great deal on the micro 9 but it does not have the crimson trace laser grips. The laser grip model is $230 more. Worth it? To add them aftermarket is $300+. Just not sure how much I would need them. I will say I'm a kinda sucky shot with a pistol which I why I was wanting the laser grip. I guess my question is do any of you have the laser grips and think they are worth the extra price?

A while back when I shot a lot more, we put some laser grips one one of the pistols. I actually found that I shot much worse with them because I concentrated on the "dot" Surprised me how much it moved around in my shaky hands

Just like with sights you have to practice with it. I only use IR lasers. I don't use the visible ones on a defensive handgun. They go both ways on a 2 way shooting range.

I have a laser on the 38 I bought my mom. I am not a hug fan to be honest, for someone that is a beginner or wanting a point and shoot type gun It will work.

It does take some getting use to, just like my red dots.

CT's work well on my .357 Sig P226. Battery is 10+ years old and still bright. Don't remember the cost. Back then I think it was less than 2 Franklins.
I do know that hogs can see the red laser. I lit up a hog down in south Texas and that sucker squealed like he been stuck with a muzzy and hauled butt. Never had time to get the shot off.

Thanks. I decided to go ahead and get the one with the crimson trace laser grips. Been carrying it all afternoon around the house and already love it. Just need to go shoot it some.

I got a micro 9. Added Kimber night sights for 100$ I like it better than the laser.
