    gun stock

    i have decided to re do the stock and finish on one of my shot guns i will post pics as soon as i can get them resided the gun was painted camo by who ever had the gun before me and over the years it has started to show its age and the paint begun to come off in places so i have had it painted with the bake on paint and iam in the middle of doing the stock now

      Cool. What kind of paint and how will you do the pattern?

        iam not really sure but i think it was from brownells i had a friend of mine do that part of it all i know is that it is similar to parkerizing i just went back to black not real sure on what color iam doing the stock in iam toying with the idea of leaving the natural wood grain look

              I've seen them use the dip method to put a spacific pattern on either wood or plastic. It's kind of cool to watch them dip it in and come out with a real-tree or mossy oak pattern on what ever they are dipping!
