How much coverage do you have?

Do you have an additional roof replacement policy?

What is your annual premium and deductible?


We are particularly looking at a 2021 bunkhouse model.

Full coverage through Progressive. Insured value is around $17K for $477 a year.

Take the roof coverage. It’s well worth it for the price. I am an agent and Progressive offers that roof coverage. Foremost and Safeco do not. I put almost all my new RV’s and travel trailers with Progressive because of the roof coverage and total replacement cost coverage.

Just a note: policies through an Agency are nearly always cheaper than going directly through the carrier. Why this is, I'm not sure! Just something to think about if/when shopping around.

When we bought our trailer it was a requirement of the bank to have insurance.
Guess they're covering themselves in case of loss or damages.
Once I paid off the loan we dropped the coverage.

I just went through this today..

Travel trailer valued at $15,000

Progressive with $500 Ded. was $647/year
Geico with $500 Ded. was $362 per year

I went with Geico obviously. It may have been cheaper because I have my cars with them.

We have Foremost for $600 a year with a $20k full replacement policy. The policy is set for the price specified.
