Anyone seeing any good deer coming into your feeders? I have a ton of hogs and javelinas and just a trickle of does and young/small bucks.

Bachelor group of 6 little rack bucks been hanging around all summer. One just out of velvet yesterday and others close, but that is all. Out of the 15ish does that come in to the house regularly only one has shown up with a fawn, so not sure whats up with the rest that were pregnant and now are not......

We have been seeing a lot of young bucks and hogs at our place in Premont as of lately. We are usually over loaded with does but haven't seen many which is weird for us.

My feeders went empty in July and between the rain and other commitments this weekend is the first chance I have to go down there.

Will be good to get them filled and seeing what is all coming around before the bachelor groups disband

I have more dang hogs than I know what to do with showing up.. Also have a big herd of Javelina showing up as well.

We’re covered up with doe and fawns. Good headgear on bucks but all nocturnal. We’re still pretty green with all the rains but they’re killing the corn and cotton seed. Late evening they are funneling into open pastures to feed all night.

Our neighbors went to war on the Javelinas one year and now we may see 2-3 a season.

I used to cuss them now I'd rather have them than the hogs. At least they're native.

I have the same issue where I hunt.. Dang hogs..

Sat for the first time today and had hogs, some young bucks, green jay and bob whites show up!!

If you're interested, on the 28th in Alice there's a meeting about the CWD positive deer out of a breeder facility in Duval.

I won't be making it but I think it'd be interesting to hear from the "pros" about it.
