Pond Liners

Does anyone here have experience with pond liners in the Hill Country?
Looking to make a pond for wildlife.

No but I just made a pond in north Texas. Lined it with liner I got at Home Depot. Of course I finished right when all the rain quit so it hasn’t had an opportunity to catch any water.

I have a cousin that builds ponds in that area and has all the stuff to weld pond liners. Pm me if you want his info.
