Heading down to Port A in July for a week

I am going to mess around with some surf fishing. Nothing hard core just piddling around. I thought at one time someone had told me you had to use barbless hooks is this correct? Also what is the length limit on trout?

Barbless not required, never been as far as I know. I don't keep trout to eat but I believe for now up in Port A the size limit is 5 fish total 15-25", only 1 can be over 25".

Download the TP&W outdoor annual app. It’s free and once downloaded I don’t think you need internet access. Tons of great info and all your minimum and maximum limits on there as well. Great when your fishing and you need those numbers quick because you have a fish on the beach.
