I will be having hip repair surgery tomorrow in Houston. Should be about patient surgery with a long recovery.

Good luck. My dad had it done. Now he gimps around about the same as he did before the surgery, just without the pain.

Surgery happened at 07:30 am yesterday morning g. Damage was more extensive than he thought. Doctor put four pins in to stabilize gel pad in hip and removed several bone spurs. Now the rehab will start in a week or so.

Therapy is as important as Surgery...My Knee Surgeon actually ranked it as 50% surgery/50% therapy...I speak of Knee because I had both replaced 10 Weeks apart...No complaints at all..I did my at home therapy couple times a day and went to a Therapy center 2 or 3 times a week for about 4weeks with each surgery
