    Stove electrical question

    Running wire for a stove, 50 amp @92 ft. 8 gauge or 6 gauge due to length.

      I ran #6 on mine about 25'.

        I would refer to what the NEC instructs to use and the type of cable being utilized.

              definitely would not run 8 guage as it is only rated for 40 amps on most situation. I now some is rated for 50 based on usage or type of cable but given the distance as well i would go with 6 guage.

                          50a load is 50a load. Convection or regular doesn’t matter.

                            Usually people associate a stove with 50 amps. That's why I ask the question. Does that stove draw 50m amps?? That's what I was trying to get at.
