    High End Over Unders

I made a post about NSCA/NSSA a few months ago and it got me curious what Gun everyone is running and your opinions on them. I run a Caesar Geurini Summit Sporting and I absolutely love it but I would really like a Maxum Sporting

i shoot a Browning 725...i don't consider it a "high end" but its not a low end either.

I would love a Krieghoff or Kolar or even top of the line Beretta but cant justify that expense

High end guns just cost more. Better for me to spend that money on ammo and practice. When I shot a lot I was a mid nineties shooter on sporting clays with my old field grade Citori. If I didn’t have to work for a living I could have been better than that. (BTW, I could break just as many birds with my AL 390) Gun fit and practice !

My first O/U was a 725 Field, loved that gun. Finally got to handle a Kolar at ACUI nationals and wow

This is true! But having a nice gun is just well, nice! I have a buddy who will shoot skeet with a bolt action 410 sometimes.

First high end competition O/U was a fixed choke mod/imod 34" barreled MX2000 I bought used for a steal...gun was beautiful but never could fall in love with the 34's.

Went to a 32" Left Hand Blaser F3 in 2010 or 11 and it made a tremendous difference for me. I used to average 6-7k registered targets a year plus easily that much in practice. I bet the Blaser has 50-60k rounds through it easy and keeps crushing targets.

I’m getting into NSCA/NSSA hard now with a group of friends. Trying to get 2-3 shoots a month, I do shoot skeet probably 3 times a week in average but our range is by no means regulation sadly.

I bought a Beretta 692 sporting 4 years ago when I thought I wanted to get into clay shooting. I only shot it during that time maybe 1k times. Into the safe it went. Fast forward to this year I decided I wanted to get back into clay shooting (I suck by the way). Grab the gun and off we went.

A great friend I shoot with has a K-80 sporting and I made the mistake of shooting that gun. After that I decided I needed to have one. Low and behold I ended up with a K-80 Pro Sport which I still suck at shooting but I love the gun. I am shooting my first NSCA event this week (yeap still suck, but having fun shooting)

Mine is in the first picture below and the second picture is the one the influencer on my purchase.

Many years ago I bought a NIB Browning Citori White Lightning 12ga 26" with the hard take down carrying case all for just $1100. It's still my favorite shotgun and especially for quail and pheasant. Does a fine job on skeet, 5 stand and sporting clays. Guess I will keep it a while longer

Krieghoffs can get very expensive. I have known people who have had multiple.
