    Walmart deal alert! Hunting stuff

Walmart has all their soaps, sprays, scents, etc. on sale right now. Most everything was $1.50-$2.50. I paid $2.50 for a couple items that have a $5.00 rebate

This was at the Walmart in Liberty. They had quite a bit left.

The broadheads weren’t on sale, but lots of items like what I purchased also. Lures like doe pee and estrus.

For sure it has a shelf life. We had some left over from the year before. Opening day of bow season went to spray down with it. Well it smelled like rotting vegetables. I was late to the stand because I had to change clothes. It was terrible smelling.

When I say terrible I mean if I would have left it on I may have puked.

I believe it’s the Dead Down Wind spray that goes bad and smells. The product contains enzymes that are odor eaters, but have a short shelf life. The scent killer spray I’ve never had issues with.

This was my thought as well.DDW turns almost a gray in the bottle and smells like hell. I've never noticed a foul smell from Scent Killer or Scent Away.

I have had the same experience with Scent Killer, it's all I use and don't even know how old some of it is.

Well if it stinks then don’t put it on you. That’s good advice for several things

I’ve had scent a way that was old and it started smelling like pickle juice.
