    Big Buck Found Dead

Jason Kline has been hunting a once-in-a-lifetime whitetail in northwest Ohio for the last four seasons. That pursuit came to an end this weekend when Kline finally got his hands on the buck’s rack—but it wasn’t the conclusion he hoped for. Kline found the long-expired buck while shed hunting on...

That would make me Plum Sick.

Hope he was able to breed a lot and pass on those genes. Awesome deer.

I'm not sure why the death is suspect. Old deer do die naturally.

Here is the only thing I can think of. He said that the last time he say him was mid October and then never saw him again. If their bow season opens at the beginning of October and the buck was well known in the area, it wouldnt be out of the question that someone put a bad bow shot on him those last weeks of October.

Edit: To be clear I agree with you that old deer die naturally for sure and this is the most probable cause unless the gentleman actually has some reliable/reputable information that says otherwise.
