Switchweight Saved My Season? CDLC Buck Video

After I broke my hand before Thanksgiving, I was unable to draw my new Mathews V3 (which I had just received the day before) at it's 70# draw weight. I feared it would be a season ending injury. I called Jeff at Cinnamon Creek Ranch and he overnighted me a set of 60# Switchweight modules. Tim at Brush to Bay Outfitters helped me install and set up the bow at just over 55#. I was able to draw and shoot it a few times at the reduced weight, which saved my season!

    Thanks again, Jeff!

I think it’s hard to hear on regular speakers or phones, but when I was editing with my headphones, I could hear my heartbeat before and after
the shot from the Instamic (wireless mic) that was in the chest pocket of my hoodie.

Great shot and slo-mo Michael! That green light was straight and true. I like watching a well tuned arrow fly. Deadly V scores again.

I'd rather it lodge in the opposite shoulder than pass thought nothing good. Oh...and that new bow is Aight... ..

Nice job on the video and great deer. I was thinking he was probably older than he looked at first glance. He really lost a lot of weight.

Not bad for three shots through paper to tune it, huh?

Crazy how much they can lose in three weeks.

That's a product of the low light capabilities of the camera. Of course, there's a LOT of noise because I was shooting 240fps and 1/500 sec shutter to get the slow motion. I may be a little too obsessed with the ultra smooth slow mo!
