    Ethics spinning inserts?

Has anyone used this? Planning on using them on a heavy, high FOC arrow with a grizzlystik single bevel samurai.

Supposedly makes arrow spin faster bc broadheads and arrow are now separately spinning

Sounds like a gimmick to me.

That’s what I’m thinking. Although might prevent the broadhead from steering the arrow...until the insert stops spinning. Would need a ball bearing for it to be smooth enough to spin freely.

                Just watched this video:

Seems like they spin pretty freely, not knocking their product...

I suspect the idea behind the design is to allow the single bevel broadhead to more easily rotate as it goes through tissue. Does it make a difference? I dont know as I havent tested it. Im betting Ranch Fairy will address it in a video on his channel.

So why not "elaborate" on a public forum?

What's the need? So we can argue the science?

Kind of like most fishing lures. They are made to catch fishermen first and fish second.

I think a single bevel tipped arrow will keep spinning after it makes contact with tissue whether it's on a spinning insert or not.

Since a double bevel head will stop spinning as soon as it makes contact I think a spinning insert allows the shaft to keep spinning after contact.

I can't imagine that the arrow's rotational energy is enough to make that much of a difference either way.
