    Mercy kill hog with a knife?

    Hey y'all, hoping for a quick answer. I stuck a 100ish lb hog with my crossbow at about 8, then tracked and walked up to it at about 9. It's still kicking and all I have on me are my fists, a knife, and a flashlight. I'm watching it as I type this.

    How do I put it down quickly? Is it still worth turning into sausage?

      Cut the throat. If it aint gut shot the meat is fine

        Cut throat, remove back straps, toss them in the beer cooler and roll on

            Put your fist in his mouth, shove the flash light up it’s butt and stab him in the eye with the knife.
            Seriously though. Just slit its throat and move on.

              Put another bolt or arrow through it as a kill shot. Had a buddy spine one and every time we would get close to cut its throat she would turn and charge us as best as she could with her front legs only. He stepped back and put one through the heart, she was down within a couple minutes.

                            Update. It's dead. Looks like entry was about 2 inches right of the anus and exit was near the spine on the right side, in line with the front leg

                              Grab the back legs flip it and cut its throat.
                              Hog on its back almost as helpless as a turtle.
