As some of you may recall, my oldest son got the weekend started with a pig and coyote on a sit Friday evening. I was pumped to say the least and shared this thread.
He had a few other eventful sits and had a hammer of a deer come in a little too late for a shot on Saturday evening. Fast forward to Sunday morning. His older nephew went to sit with him and I got text around 8am saying he was fixing to take a big doe. I text him back and said "do your thang" and let me know. He responds back 5 minutes later telling he made a perfect shot with a pass through and he saw her go down. I was really excited for him. I told him to stay put for an hour or so and keep hunting. Twenty minutes later he text back saying more does were incoming. I told him if we have to skin one we might as well skin two of them. It wasn't long and he responded back with a second good shot. I couldn't be more proud of his decision making and effort he has put into becoming a good bow hunter.
My nephew got some good video of both shots. What a great weekend for him.
