    Mask required to vote?

    Will they require people wear a mask in order to vote?

    This just dawned on me this morning. Would be very good for Democrats as it only appears to be people with common sense that are anti-mask.

    I’m not following your logic here? Are you saying that requiring a mask would keep certain voters away? I think even the most staunch anti-masker will wear one to vote because they can see the bigger picture

      I heard basically the same thing when seat belts and motorcycle helmets were required.

      Just go vote.

        Ill wear one if needed to vote because when Trump wins again he is going to open this place back up to normal
        If biden wins ifs a federally mandated mask for life

          You guys can feel that way but I promise there are tons of people who have yet to wear a mask.. And they may try to vote but if polling places are firm they will just leave.

          So the question remains..or two questions.
          1. Can they require a mask? 2. Will they?

            I havent worn a mask yet seriously not once but if they require it to vote I will put one on. I think is bs if they do require ot but I won't lose my right to vote over it. I doubt they will here in burnet co though

              I don’t usually wear one when I’m not at work, but if the court house is requiring one I’ll put it on to go in to vote.

                  Yeah they won't be making us where a mask when we vote this election. They didn't just a couple months ago when we were at the top of the pandemic supposedly for runoff elections so why would they now?

                    "Every person in Texas shall wear a face covering over the nose and mouth when inside a commercial entity or other building or space open to the public, or when in an outdoor public space, wherever it is not feasible to maintain six feet of social distancing from another person not in the same household; provided, however, that this face-covering requirement does not apply to the following:

                    8. any person who is voting, assisting a voter, serving as a poli watcher, or actively administering an election, but wearing a face covering is strongly encouraged;

                        What’s creating the drama?

                            And they will need to ID you as well, right? So now you get the hand to mouth to voting machine link.

                              Thanks, this is a helpful link.

                              That said, little old ladies work the polls. They are some of the nicest people. I will wear a mask if they ask because they have to put up with enough **** as it is.
