    Bowmar nose button?

Do any of you use a nose button? I have been kicking around one of these but wanted to get input from the experts.

Bowmar Nose Button. Consistency is key for accuracy, and the Bowmar Nose button is the most consistent anchor point an archer could have. Every single time I draw my bow, my anchor point is EXACTLY THE SAME. Every single person that’s tried this has absolutely said it’s made a huge difference in consistency and accuracy, including 13 time world champ Levi Morgan! *please note- all sales final

Never used one, but I will say this, that guy is an incredible shot with a compound or traditional.

Just got mine in yesterday & haven't had time to put it on yet. I'll try to do it tonight & let you know if I see a difference. I figure it can't hurt unless it creates a distraction and doesn't lead to better draw consistency. Guy at the office said that he thinks it really helped his shooting.

I used some serving to create my nose button

Just another gimmick, in my opinion, but if it makes you feel better about your shooting, go for it.

Is it intended to Eliminate the need for a peep, or is it intended to be used as an additional anchor point with a peep?

I believe it’s just so you get a consistent spot on your nose to anchor off of.

Also to help you from putting too much pressure on the string with your nose

I just tie a nock serving and burn a large knot so it's really easy to locate.

I never used one with my old bow. On the new bow I was having issues with consistent anchor due to some stress in my elbow. I would let off the back end just slightly and not notice it. The nose button lets me know when the draw creeps a little. Other than that, if you have a consistent anchor I don't think you need one.

I think my anchor is fairly consistent. However, I notice my groups open up around 35 / 40 yards. I guess I will give it a shot for 17 dollars before I go for an eye exam.

C’mon. Seriously? Have one. And it works. Maybe not for everyone but for plenty...yes. I guess a kisser button is a gimmick too?
