Got a question for Texas Tech followers.

Yes I am and Aggie, Class of '75, but lived in Lubbock for 45 years until this summer.

What is happening to the coaches in the Tech Athletic Dept. Kingsbury gone (we know why), Women's BBall coach gone (maybe we know why) and now the Softball coach gone. What is going on?, and is this an AD problem or what?

Lots of coaches dismissed, fired, gone under Holcutt!

Can a fellow Aggie respond or are we not going down that road? Lol

I would rather not, i would like to hear from the Tech faithful on their thoughts, just on the situation at Tech. No bashing, just honest opinions or answers.

Can’t forget Billy Gillispie for bad hires. Kirby’s hire of Chris Beard and the baseball coach have been good.

Tech needs to win. Simple as that. The BB program has surpassed the football program in both talent and exposure, but going to the NCAA championship game. The baseball team has been a steady producer and making CS appearances. What other sport has done any of that?

Coach Bro was a pretty face that liked to run up offensive numbers and crater late in games. And had a pretty crappy record to show for it. He needed to go. When tech is getting out recruited by small conference teams it is time to change something.

In today's game if you can win, and win big occasionally, you're out.

It’s the Mike Leach curse. The last time Texas Tech football was relevant. Unfortunately, we look destined to be a basketball school.

              Simple in Football.
#1 5,4 star defensive lineman ARE NOT going to Lubbock.
#2 5,4 star offensive lineman ARE NOT going to Lubbock.
Going to a bowl game or even 8 wins is reality for TT.

Tim is a good friend of mine. Country is the day is long. Baseball is huge in West Texas and all ot Texas. So Tim is able to get great players from all over and all the west Texas good uns.

Hoops that guy has had success.

The others either got outta line, sexually or physically with players.

It's the 10% rule for coaches and preachers.
Every year you make 10% of your crowd mad at you. So in 5 years there is more than 50% mad at ya. So after 5 years it's time to move on, start lookin or get fired.
