    Best quivers for hunting?

What quivers work best for hunting with a longbow? Thanks

If you are talking about bow quivers I like those made by Great Northern. Especially the quick detach model made for 3 piece bows

Bow-mounted quiver for myself. But some hip quivers could work depending on the broadhead and the circumstances of the hunt.

The nice thing about a bow-mounted quiver is that it's pretty streamlined when moving about. Many surviving hunter gatherer tribes hold their arrows in a bundle with the bow, and in many respects that's the same overall concept as a bow-mounted quiver.

I’m a GN and Thunderhorn fan.

Great Northern is my quiver of choice. If you have a 3pc takedown bow, the Quick Detach model is the cats meow!

I don't like bow quivers with my longbows. I use a side quiver with attached pouch. It hangs pretty high up on my side, under my arm.

              Same without the pouch.

I like bow quivers, but they can change the balance point on a longbow. I had to rig up a counterweight for my Thunderhorn on my longbow. The string slap was horrible with the quiver no matter how loose my grip was (dropped the bow at the shot a couple times trying to identify grip torque as an issue).

GN strap-on and a GFA style to carry all the extra ammo. Like the light counter balance and added mass weight it provides.

Another one for pouch or hip quiver. I don't like anything on my bow to take away from the shot.

I’ve been looking at the Rancho Safari Cat Quivers. Anyone use these?
