    12V blind fan?

Anybody have one from amazon that you'd recommend?

    #2
    I've tried 2-3 different ones.

I'm always very self conscious that the critters will hear it.

Batteries don't last very long either.

I want to put a solar power fan in a blind, and let it run all the time, to condition the wildlife to be used to it. Still haven't gotten around to doing that.

Very interesting...they don't mind the noise of my Mr. Buddy Heater, so I'm on for hearing ideas about this.

Ryobi fan, runs off the battery packs. Quiet, have had deer within 12 yards and they never heard it.

Bought me a Ryobi fan. Going to give it a go this season. Big difference in noise between high and low settings.

            Read down on this thread.

Been doing this for 2+ years and works great.

The USB fans are $2.99 at the dollar store.

The battery is like $10 and runs 6+ hours. It'll run the fan longer than that

I'm probably going to upgrade to the Dewalt since I already have four 20 volt batteries.

I have this fan. Doesn't bother my deer a bit on high.

I bought a Milwaukee package that had the Milwaukee 18v fan as a free add on this Christmas. Sucker is quiet and move airs good. Add a 5amp battery and I’m good for a couple of hunts.

Had one years ago. For me it’s not what the deer hear. It’s a constant sound so probably they come in no matter what. It’s about what I hear. The constant sound takes away what I want to hear.

I'm so deaf anymore I can't hear the birds like I use to. Couple that with being in a blind more than ever and it's discouraging.
But I'm going to get a Dewalt fan for sure.

i have access to a lot of 12v computer fans through work. those things can run for days off of a small car battery. i charge the battery when im away and it usually will last for a week of hunting.

What about just fining an older 12V car battery, and getting a cheap inverter. Then you can plug in a fan, your cell phone charger, overhead light bulb, whatever you want.
