    Abbott can kiss it

This is ridiculous. And he will not be getting my vote again if there is another republican or libertarian on the ballot.

I still will not wear a mask.... Not until they tell us the end game.

It only applies to counties that have had 20 or more positive cases so some of you guys in remote or rural areas can remain maskless. I just checked two rural counties I frequent - Eastland County has had 10 cases and Shackleford has had 1.

Nope, I wear a mask regularly at work while in areas that require it.

But you know the difference? My employer a private entity told me I had to for my health and safety. Not my govt and threatening me with a $250 dollar fine if I don't comply. And on top of this he drops it right before the holiday celebrating a country that started shooting people for very similar issues 200 years ago, literally this kind of crap is what led to the start of this nation.

I will continue not to comply with an unconstitutional order. If you can't see the reason why people are ****** about this govt over reach you are part of the problem.

So is it HAD or have 20 positive cases? That would be BS if a County had 20 cases in March but zero now and still be mandated.

Complete over reach and I am in the same boat. He has done enough to lose my vote.

I finally HAD to get a mask on vacation in Port A, we could not get into a couple restaurants without. So I bought this one.

Only wear it if “reminded” a couple times. Hate every second it is on.

Hidalgo & Cameron are on the list of only 8 I think under the emergency declaration...no more elective surgeries. The entire area of lemmings is in a state of fear / panic lining up OVERNIGHT to get tested. People with the mild symptoms are clogging the hospitals & not getting turned away because the feds are paying...it's full blown stupid down here!!

But hey, no riots or demonstrations!!

Abbott can’t win for losing. I’ve read comments other places stating they aren’t going to vote for him because he opened up the state too early and caused this current spike.

Those people weren't going to vote for him in the first place.

He just lost any semblance of conservative he had left going. I won't vote for him in 2022. I won't vote for someone who is not conservative.

Same. At least you can push back on democrats. And you know what you will get. We are getting the same action from Abbott but we think he is on our side. F him.

Yeah he let all the big citys know that he put that wording in there from the get go, after all the big cities sent him a letter. Its old knews for those paying attention. But sadly we got another politician instead of a leader. Good news is he will make a 2024 presidential run (and loose) so we shouldnt have to worry about him too much longer. Glad everyone is starting to see him for what he really is though.
