Anyone here know much about telescopes?

My younger brother owns Alpine Astro out of Boise, ID. He sells all kinds of attachments, lens, etc for telescopes. He may be able to help you out. I would go to his website & send him a message.

I know very little other than I can tell you that an inexpensive one is not worth buying. I paid about $150 for one when my young son showed an interest and we figured out pretty quick that like binos, using a cheap one is frustrating. We got spoiled when a guy moved in next door who was an astronomy geek. He had about $10k invested in his set up and it was awesome
