    Gunwerks Going Under?

In March 2019, Gunwerks along with government and business officials broke ground for its expanded manufacturing facility.

Over priced guns but the owners sure did go hunting a lot.

Yeah that doesn’t sound positive for anyone involved.

Oddly enough this just doesn’t surprise me. No particular reason why, just doesn’t.

I have no more info than the average guy, but they had a cult following just like GA. Must have been some serious money management issues going on over there.

Would not have mattered where they borrowed the money from. Their "holier than thou" attitude caught up with them.

For some reason some folks that start up businesses in the shooting industry develop an arrogance about them that kills customer relations and limits their ability to diversify product lines. Shilen barrels is another good example of arrogance or ignorance.

They borrowed 2.8 million to build a few "custom" rifles and WF actually gave them the money.. SMDH.. Sounds like some idiots on both ends of that deal...

Can't say I feel one ounce of pity for them.

Apparently going hunting and blowing money on that kind of stuff is more important than paying your bills for them

Have not paid quarterly sales tax since 2018?
Figured that would get you in a bind faster than that

Same as someone who would rather buy cigs and alcohol than pay their electric bill, I have ZERO sympathy. Their children are a different story as are the employees affected at GW

I always hate to hear about businesses that are failing. They have a big following from all over the world. They do build fine guns and manufacture innovative components. Hope they can make it thru this tough time.

As a GS I can assure you that there are plenty places to get a gun built every bit as good for considerably less money. As for this debacle, it looks like they caught a good case of the dumb ***.
