North East Sutton County

How is the deer hunting around the North East corner of Sutton County? Got hit pretty hard with Anthrax at our deer lease just South of Ozona (Val Verde County) this past year and decided to not renew. Getting on a new one this year North of I-10 just past Roosevelt. Curious to see if that area got hit as well.

Buddy of mine is 10-12 miles east of Sonora north side of 10 and no anthrax on their place. Good luck!

Just south of Sonora no atharax and lots of axis

That area is fine. No anthrax there

One of my favorite parts of Texas, good whitetail and a lot of turkey, axis and Sika

The vast majority of the Anthrax kill was south and west of town.

Used to hunt north of there 30 yrs ago. Loved it but back then never saw an axis just millions of stupid goats
