    Zoom app

Saw this article and ran it past my IT guy and he confirmed it’s accurate and people are getting hacked left and right.

    FYI

The company has seen a 535% rise in daily traffic in the past month, but security researchers say the app is a ‘privacy disaster’

I am surprised at the number of companies using it. When Hangouts is readily available.

Your IT teams can provide safeguards and guidelines that should keep it a reliable resource.

NCAA Division II has allowed 5 hours per week for my sons football program to video conference with its players for film review etc. since spring ball has been canceled. He started last week on the Zoom app and it seems to be ok so far. Really missing spring ball and gonna miss not having a spring game.

Super rise to popularity so it gets scrutinized. Data security on the web is a myth.

I agree with your last sentence, but Zoom hasn’t even really tried to shore up their weaknesses. They sorta nod and say yeah, we’ll get that fixed and never do
