    Writing a Book

My Bride has been after me to write a book for sometime. The slow down due to the COVID 19 scare has given us time to get this project behind us. The book will be primarily "how to" on rattling whitetails, calling turkeys in the spring with an emphasis on calling predators. Looks like we will end up with close to 300 pages and approximately 200 photos, most of them color. Good friend Larry Weishuhn has written the forward. I hope to have the finished product by the end of July.

    Adios,
    Gary

Oh heck yea, I gotta have a signed copy Gary!! Gotta get Larry to sign mine too... I used to talk to him at the Townhouse in Uvalde pretty regular when I hunted out that way...

Good deal. Book writing is harder than it sounds, eh? My first one's with the publisher, and I'm negotiating with another publisher on the second

I'll definitely be buying one when you come out with it. I want Beaver to sign mine though. Tell him Mickey says hey!

Yes Sir, more than I wanted to do. There is nothing that I will tell you that is not common sense delivered by a ranch raised country boy with 60 years of hunting across the Southwest. The only time that I may get technical is when I attempt to explain ultrasonics and why it is so important when calling predators. Once I explain and hopefully you understand, you will again agree that it's just common sense.
As I relate my hunting experiences and explain why a critter responded in a certain fashion, you will say, "yeah, I've seen that"...
                  Thanks and Adios,
                  Gary

Think it has something to with how to trap chihuhuas in your back yard, or maybe how not to[emoji1]

I started my book yesterday....about to head down this long untraveled (for me) road and see what happens.

Looking forward to your book. Your wife probably deserves a pat on the back my wife has a book published I believe it was more work for me than it was for her.
