Garage Kit to Trophy Room Finish Out?? DIY

I just had our shop built.

    This is a 26’x55’.

Half will be Game/Trophy Room and will be DIY.

Other half will be my shop area.

Will split with an interior wall.

    26x23 for Trophy Room side.

    26x22 for Shop Side.

How do y’all suggest this style of kit building finish out in regards to framing/Sheetrock or OSB which are my main concerns?

Trophy room will have lots of barn tin, reclaimed barn wood, and faux stone.

I have it stubbed for kitchenette and a full bathroom on trophy room side.

This will be a slow process but as soon as we move in I’ll be spending my evenings out there.

Suggestions and ideas are welcomed! TIA!

put an oversize walk thru door in separating wall so you can get large stuff into the trophy room.

Spray foam that trophy room so it’ll be easier to control temps. Whether or not you do Sheetrock or faux stone or tin, back the entire wall with 1/2” plywood. You’ll thank me when you never have to worry about where you’ll hang anything.

Great info - maybe a little more costly but thinking 1/2” all the way around.

              Spray in insulation for sure.

I am in the process of a new building with living quarters and
              Most have advised it.

I’ll create a DIY thread whenever we get rolling.

Just want to keep this bumped in case anyone has done a similar finish out

Going to follow this. Like the setup. Curios to what your cost is in the barn as it sits. Thanks

Never done a barn but the suggestions listed above were used in my trophy room at my home. Works like a charm!!!

I’m wanting to do a 500 SF metal building - finished out as a hunting cabin - in the near future....
