    Heard It All Before

Yeah, I've heard it all before.

"Anyone can shoot good groups on the internet."

First, and only 6 shots of the day.

Think I'm gonna get my head wrapped around this 20 yard point on stuff pretty good.

Pretty amazing what you can do with a 20 yard point on.

The only one I had to hold off the bullseye was the 30 yarder, and I only held it on the dot above.

Wish I had done this setup long ago.

                I appreciate the complements folks.

                The truth is:

If you have a 20 yard point on, and can steadily point/aim that arrow, that 20 yard point on is amazing, and I think it would be for just about anyone.

I can’t think of any set up with a 45 pound draw to get a 20 yard point on that wouldn’t have a huge arc to get there. I’m open to any suggestions to get there because that would be a game changer for me. I shoot full length arrows as it is and I can only raise my nocks so high. What am I missing.

About the only way I can see for you to do it is with adding arrow weight, but as you say - it might have a huge arc getting there.

I haven't chronographed it, but I'm shooting nowhere near the speeds I was shooting. It was a hard decision for me to make, but seems like things still have plenty of punch to spare.

I did it years ago using Graflex arrows. You may remember them, they were like fiberglass but a little lighter and much stronger. A little lighter than fiberglass but 3 times heavier than aluminum so it wasn't much problem.

Curious what changes you made to get there...what did you start with and what did you end up with? The only way I have thought about doing this was with a fixed crawl and essentially achieving the same idea of a very flat arrow trajectory as essentially you "flatten out the first half of the curve pointing it right at the Target...then anything past that the hold off becoming very large very fast!
