    Hagerman second chance hunt?

I heard today that during one of the hunts, not sure which segment, I’m thinking it was segment B some cows were in some hunters setup, and the refuge granted them an automatic hunt for next year. Has anyone heard of this??

Haven’t heard of automatic for next yr but I had them in my set to on Wright rd. I didn’t say anything to them I just moved my stand.

I was there for B, I didn't hear anything about it, but not being associated with the NWR, I doubt I would. I would suggest no.

I wouldn’t think neighboring cows getting into the refuge would warrant an automatic hunt for next year. But the person I heard it from knew the guy and was pretty sure that’s what he understood. So if anyone else had cows or dogs come through there setup, I might be calling to find out.

They mentioned to us during orientation if we saw any cows or dogs in the units while we were hunting to let them know. But heard today there was a hunter during the B segment that had cows all over them during his hunt and they granted him a hunt for next year in same segment. Maybe it’s not true, The guy who told me was pretty adamant that it’s was fact. I don’t guess it matters, was just curious if it was true or not.

If this is true there should be a lot of ****** off hunters, they did let guys hunt hunt seg A this year that didn't the year before because the place was under water but if you spot is under cows you shouldn't get a deferred hunt. His *** should have scouted more and had back up spots, I not only had plan B spot but also C, D, E & F

Well I was in Segment A and had dogs run deer off my setup not only once but twice. Called the refuge office. They sent out officer. He saw dogs. I didn’t get jack out of the deal but a sorry for your luck
