This is a deer on my brothers place he loves to lurk here just hasn't joined yet. He's thinking an extremely nice 1.5 year old and hopes he stays around to grow what does the GS Brain Trust think?

Probably too much tarsal staining for a typical 1yo, and the neck has a little more girth. A 1yo's neck should look like a doe if you cover the antlers.

I'd lean more toward a 2yo.

I’m seeing 2.5....he’s a little to muscled up to be 1.5. A 1.5 should look like a doe with antlers and I am just not seeing that.

if the deer around sam rayburn are similar to the deer in leon county he is older than 1.5. Neck is filled out too much for a 1.5 year old.
