Question for the food plot guys

As a bowhunter, do yall think it more advantageous to have just one main foodplot or to have a main and several small hunting plot?

Just for the record, I do not hunt my main plot.

Come on Green Screen. Im trying to decide if I am wasting my time with multiple plots.

I believe multiple small plots are better than one large one with that being said hogs can destroy small ones a whole lot faster

I think it depends on deer density and proximity to your big plot. Among other issues to consider

big is better and draw all your neighbors deer too.

I have 5 food plots. 1 is 4 acres and the rest would be about an acre or little less each.

I hunt over two of them and the rest are very secluded. The deer have trails that chain all the plots together.

Good thinking, but its impossible where I hunt, too much natural browse and if there is a open space, its got pinetrees on it. My big plot is only an acre in size. Small ones are lanes in between pine trees. Big one is centrally located and used at night mostly.

The trail system is key to hunting a big food plot or multiple small one. It is really up to what you can support and put labor into.

Good responses. Like reading what works for other hunters.

I would have multiple as some plots are a bust for whatever reason and you will have options.

Kinda what I was thinking. Different winds, so on, so forth
