Doe’s galore but no bucks!

Got a herd of 8 does that see almost daily but have yet to see any bucks. Has the rut started here in North East Texas? I don’t hunt but would like to see what’s around in the way of bucks....photo from my backdoor...

No it hasn’t. I have small bucks trying to chase any doe but that’s it

out of 40 deer on two sits last week I had two young bucks that were 120ish. 2 four points, 2 spikes. Leaving tomorrow for lease and at least 4 doe will die...…….hill country is outta control as usual.

Bucks have been slow here as well. Acorns falling. Herd of does and fawns have been regular. They will get going soon.
