For context what is the best movie you have seen, maybe the best superhero movie you have seen as well? I haven't seen Joker, but keep hearing how great it is till now, so I am curious

Interesting to hear what you like...because it was actually a really good movie...incredibly well shot and the acting was great. If you’re looking for the avengers or deadpool, then yeah, you might be disappointed..

Or Bone Tomahawk. This is the worst movie that I have watched.

I’ve heard of some people not liking the joker, but they took this movie a different route than any other joker movie. They didn’t let him just be a mad man. They showed us why he broke down. There was not as much action as we are used to in super hero movies. This movie focused on the perils of society that people can’t cope with.

I saw it earlier this week and thought it was fantastic. Very slow, it’s dark, troubled. Shows you what someone’s life might look like to turn him into the madman that heath ledger portrayed before. Phoenix was incredible and owned the role in a very different way. He should win best actor for his performance. If you like fast shoot em up action and that’s it you’ll hate it. If you enjoy complex, dark thought provoking movies you’ll love it.
