I am in again. 3rd time. Anyone else get picked for Jan. 8-10?

No but we were there last year, man was it wet, we were the only group to get a buck. Cool to get on there once but not really my style terrain to hunt, the hunting pressure on the private land around there is unreal.

I tried to get on standby last year but was told due to many areas flooded, there were no standbys.

Interesting you say that. My lease borders the state park and we don’t hear hardly any gunshots all season long. We also pass many deer and see them following years. You could have possibly been hunting next to my lease. We see the guys on the draw hunt every year but we are by no means trigger happy hunters.
