Four years ago a shot a beautiful ten point that grossed over 150. It was a dream come true for me. I don't know if I'll ever top that but I'll have a blast trying. I truly enjoy the pursuit.

I dont consider myself there yet. I took a 149 last year with my bow on small acreage in central TX. I was pretty proud of the feat, but I dont consider him once in a lifetime. But I intend on finding that buck this year! -

I guess I've shot several "Bucks of a Lifetime". A really long time ago, I killed a very typical mainframe 12 in Brazoria County that scored a shade over 140. He was the talk of the town for quite a while. Many years later (after becoming jaded by TTHA and hunting shows), I almost didn't shoot a 160' 10 point in Shallow South Texas. I thought he was only about 140ish. A couple years later, I killed a 23" wide 10 in Deep South Texas. And I love 'em wide ! Two years ago, I stumbled on a Big 8. I had wanted an 8 that would break 150. The one I found scored a little over 163 and won me a jacket at Muy Grande. I've been lucky...Comment
