    Sick Doe

Have been seeing this doe on cameras this year, looks to have some sort of tumor between rear legs, almost looks like an utter. Any thoughts on what this could be?

Kind of related, kind of unrealted...

At work, there's a lot more left than right. I'm open about hunting to whoever would listen (and actually have a few takers on folks that would join me on the lease if they're free when I'm going.)

One of the points I make when they ask, "How is hunting ethical," I respond by saying that a quick death where I know I will use as much of the animal as I can is better than getting hit by a car and taking hours to die; painfully going through untreated cancer or other disease; become prey and being eaten to death.

I say this only because what that poor doe is going through...probably making every second of their life as miserable as it can. Very sad.

Can't say what it is from the picture, but her body condition looks pretty good. I'm going with tumor.

Picture will not load for me but reading th other comments it sounds like what a doe of mine had a few years ago, she survived and still had fawn for years after that. She was tagged so I know it was the same doe.
