    My Krivoman Stands

Nothing Earth shattering about mine, but I posted a few pics in the other thread and realized I forgot to do a DIY last year.

We built 2 of these that are identical. Hindsight I wish I would have put a handrail around it but I might do a bolt on version eventually.

I used the x brace design off some old tripods I used to have. Can't remember the brand but they were just bolted top and bottom off a plate very similar to what we built. Turned out rock solid.

2" 14 gauge tubing for the frame
1 3/4" 11 gauge tubing for the legs
1" tubing for the x braces
    3/4" treated plywood.
    Expanded metal for the porch

Octagon calculator to helps things along..

Also bought a Evolution miter saw with the metal blade so making all of the angle cuts was simple. Cuts are weld ready.

Sleeves were cut at a 15 degree angle and we have it taking shape.

    Expanded metal on the porch.

Legs in with feet and on to the x braces.

We just cut 6" strap into 2" strips and bent them once welded in place.

Turned my son loose with the torch and I bent them once he got them ready. Worked perfect and I just eye balled them to line up across to the next leg.

Holes drilled and braces installed. Also welded nuts on for set screws on the sleeves.

We are ready for paint and plywood.

I didn't take any pics of ladder construction but very some design since we were only 6' up to the platform.

My son did all the painting and it was stacked for the ranch.

Plywood was cut and bolted on prior to assembly and blinds were added afterwards.

I had these on 4' wooden platforms before and that extra 2' makes all of the difference in the world. We still had trees to trim at this point but the view was perfect.

Thanks for checking out our build!!

Those look awesome! I love being up in the air a little. Especially when having a pen around the feeder.

Looks good. One thing you might want to look into is a hand rail for the stairs and landing. It is a lot easier getting in and out with wet/muddy boots.

Ooppss- I see you mentioned that in the OP...

Very nice. Looks like solid design and finish from a factory.

I almost skated right off one icy morning. [emoji15][emoji15][emoji15]

Lol. I skipped the railing on mine too, thinking it was not needed. Had to retro it in the field with some angle iron and bolts. It actually came out nice and sturdy.

I have the design in mind, just never remember to get all of the measurements when I am there.

Maybe if I add it to my "Lease List" right now I might remember.
