    Question about arrow spine

I just got a Pronghorn longbow in that is 56#28”. The only arrows I have are Gold Tip 500s that are 28 1/2”. It’s looking like they may be flying fine with 100 grain inserts and 150 grain points. Does this sound right. My draw is about 26 1/2”.

I have two bows 55@28. My DL is 26.75". I was shooting 500s about that length with 175 grains up front. Shot well but my bows are both cut 1/8" past center.

See how your broad heads fly if they group with field points at 20 you are good

I would think you are pretty close. You could always adjust tip weight up or down a little too and see if you flight improved

I've never shot carbons but have noticed all 3 of my Pronghorns seem to like arrows that are spined slightly on the low side.
