    Sierra Gamechanger

Anyone shot these bullets from Sierra? I’ve got some to reload but haven’t shot them yet and I see thag Sierra is now producing ammo using this bullet. Curious to hear/see how they are

My brother got some to load for a 6.5, haven’t had much time to work with them. Still need to work with powder and seating but groups were overall promising with most being around 1-1.25”@100. Not much help but all I have after only 1 round of development and only using H4350.

Same... got a couple boxes of the 130 gr. for the 6.5 but haven't worked a load up.
I've got IMR 4350 and 4831 and Varget to work with... probably in that order.

Any reports on how the Gamechangers perform on deer?

Following. I'm waiting on my 6.5 PRC from APR. Have a box of 130 Gamechangers I'd like to use in this rifle. Will probably start with H1000 but also have some Retumbo.

They shoot well in my 204 Ruger using TAC powder. 7mm-08 would not print a good group as the regular old Gameking did. You gotta get em close to the lands or in the lands, they aint like Bergers or other VLD bullets, that as been my experience.

Sierra had some sort of problems with them at first, not sure what it was.

I'm working on the 64 grain for an apr 22-250AI. This rifle has shot the 69 smk, 75 amx and berger to 1-1.5 inches at 300 yards.

I've had one group at 1.2 with the gamechanger but it seems to be closer to 2 inches at 300. Certainly acceptable for a hunting bullet.

I know this thread is old but I was looking at this round in 243 90 grains. Just curious if anyone has any comparisons on this round compared to others.

I found a box of 100 grain TGK 6mm and worked up a load for my wife’s 6 mm arc a couple months back. They are super accurate and knocked some pretty devastating holes through the necks of some nanny’s. Got here dialed in with 30.5 grains of CFE 223. It’s a little on the hot side but no signs of pressure at all. Velocities were in the low 2800s. Very impressed with that little round.

A hunter of mine shoots them a lot. 6.5 and 308. Kudu, wildebeest , sable , roan , whitetail , oryx , aoudad , sika , red deer , etc. It has done very well.

I've been shooting the 130 grain Gamechanger out of my 6.5x47 with great results. It's as accurate as the Berger 130 vlds. It's the most accurate hunting bullet that I've tried. Easily under .5 MOA. I use H4350. works great on deer and hogs.

Looks like a much thicker jacket similar to Hornady Interlocks or Nosler Accubonds. Probably bonded core too.
