OK Free Choice ASF is up!

I've heard/read that your sposed to feed only one thing and stick with it but..... this is way cheaper and I've had good luck mixing it here at the house.

I have bucks hammering the BB here at the house that rarely hit the corn fdr 75 yds from it.

I normally mix protein, rice bran pellets, all stock pellets, golden deer nuggets, and walmarts double duty corn.

Well...... I headed up to Tish at 3:30 pm Friday with only 110#s of the WM soybean oiled double duty corn.

Atwoods in Madill only had rice bran pellets and all stock. I grabbed 120# of ea and hauled but to the Tish feed store b4 they closed. All they had was two 60# bags of roasted soybeans so I grabbed them.

I got all but about 10# of rice bran and 10# of all stock in it. Bout 450# total.

I plan on checking the cam next wknd to see if they are using it yet. And also to see if I need to PVC pipe the legs for coons (worked on the BB).

Already lots of deer hitting the corn feeder so maybe it won't take long.

BB here at the house (Grayson Co).

          It's a start!

Well..... it's been 5-6 days and deer ain't exactly "hammering" the new set up.
But I did have one check it out.

Dang, if they big enough to reach that, they don't need feed

They will get use to it. You have some nice looking bucks there.

                They've found it!

Deer hitting it hard now. Took em a cpl wks but on it steady now.

I do have a few coons climbing the legs though.
It's high enough they can't reach it but they are jumping over to the trough from a leg.

HD Fix all........ (wire, not duct tape).

I drilled a hole in it a few inches from top. Ran doubled wire through it and hung it from top of leg.
Only drill one side so it'll twist around and make it hard to climb. A wire on both sides might keep it from twisting enough!

                      Works like a charm.

You can declare war with Hunting and trapping or you can just invest in CoonHoods and be done with them once and for all!
COONHOOD IS A VARMINT GUARD SPECIFICALLY DESIGNED FOR PROTIEN FEEDERS. OUR GOAL IS TO DESIGN A COONHOOD FOR EVERY DIFFERENT BRAND OF PROEITN FEEDER
