    oryx euro ideas?

    got a oryx the other day and I'm going to do a euro on it. Anyone got pics of ones they got? Internet search doesn't bring up much. thanks

    Hydro dipping is an option

    It's not an oryx of course but you get the idea. I did this for a taxidermist friend.

        When I get one and don’t shoulder mount for some reason, I’d like something like this.

          I think the length and shape of the horns will be the limiting factor on what you can do. If it were me, I'd mount it on a "Skull Hooker" and be done. You can change the angle it displays the skull and it can be turned just about any direction you want

            I’ll probably do something like that. The horns limit the options.
            Only doing a euro on this one, it died on us after we darted it. Made me sick to my stomach after it happened.

              If you're doing it yourself, make sure you get the horns off the sheaths. You'll thank me later

                  I would like to take a swing at it. I haven't built a mount for an oryx yet. Do a search for skull shod mounts you'll see what I build.

                    What he said!! Be sure to slip the sheaths and then clean the cores and inside of the sheaths very well before reinstalling the sheaths to the cores
