    PSA....Charcoal Lab puppies FS

If anyone is wanting a charcoal lab, these are great looking pups! I played with them for a few minutes yesterday. Momma is a great dog and the pups were way too cute. I’m betting these will make great pets.

‘Silver” and ‘Charcoal’ are not AKC recognized.

Believe they are just registered as black in eyes of AKC.

Nope. Silver and charcoal have some Weimaraner in the woodpile.

No sir - AKC doesn’t recognize the genetic mutation that generates charcoal labs..

Its a mutt. There is no such thing with labs. They are cross bred with weimeriners. Its a fake breed people are too stupid to realize the truth. These need to be killed and not bred. Its ruining the labrador breed. Its irresponsible to breed these dogs. And a scam to sell them to people.

I dont care if I hurt anyones feelings here. This is the truth. I have $15-$20,000 labs. I KNOW the breed.

Color: The Labrador Retriever coat colors are black, yellow and chocolate. Any other color or a combination of colors is a disqualification. A small white spot on the chest is permissible, but not desirable. White hairs from aging or scarring are not to be misinterpreted as brindling. Black- Blacks are all black. A black with brindle markings or a black with tan markings is a disqualification. Yellow-Yellows may range in color from fox-red to light cream, with variations in shading on the ears, back, and underparts of the dog. Chocolate-Chocolates can vary in shade from light to dark chocolate. Chocolate with brindle or tan markings is a disqualification.

Funny, I don’t see charcoal in their anywhere.

LOL. Why do people get so bent out of shape over this? If you don’t like it don’t buy one. No reason to be a smart *** Bear. I’m stating a fact. I have a Charcoal lab. He is registered with AKC as a Black lab. All his ancestors are registered AKC labs too. If you remain confused maybe you can take it up with the AKC as to why they let me register my lab as black and why the breeder I bought him from does this for three or four litters a year for the last several years.

The color may not be recognized but the dog can be AKC registered

The problem is somewhere in the dogs petigree someone lied. If you have a registered lab thats not the correct color, its a mutt. High quality labradors do not have charcol, or silver litters. Its impossible for the true labrador genes to throw those colors. You may have papers for the dog, but that doesnt mean its full bred.

This is why high end labs are not cheap. Their petigree can be traced back all the way with true labrador genes. Typically you will only find these good breeds with, AFC, NFC, QAA, MH, and HRC GHRCH type bloodlines.
