My Frankenstein .308 shorty

Only thing unused on this gun is the tube. So I had a pile of stuff laying around my shop that I’ve been wanting to use for myself but wasn’t sure exactly the route I wanted to go. Inherited a .308 Bisley reamer that I’ve been wanting to try out so I started poking around on it and it’s beat up and ugly as a new rifle but turned out kinda cool I think. I was gonna Cerakote it but I’m just gonna leave it as is I think and a bolt knob is all it’s lacking. Old rem 700 I had from years back so I did a complete overhaul on it and spun a 1:10 rock creek blank that I bought off of 6mmbr.com for a song and a dance that’s been sitting for the better part of a year. Chopped it off and did a quick thread and crown. Bottom metal made by who the hell knows and accurate mags fit like a glove. Stock is a Greyboe that I bought off TBH and I skimmed it down and re-bedded. I don’t mind those Greyboe’s for the money. Timney came off of a gun I took in trade for some work I did at my main facility on some parts for a hay baler. Nightforce came off of my straight .284 that’s been beat up but still in good shape. Just figured I’d post it up for something to look at.

Yessir. Gonna see how that Bisley chamber does with 168 and 175 bergers.
