Kalifornia can’t even run the weed business right...

Taxes on weed, combining state and local fees, can be as much as 45 percent causing distributors to be completely uncompetitive with their black market competition; FBN's Hillary Vaughn reports.

Cliff’s notes- we are always told if legalize pot, it will generate tax revenue AND run illegals drugs out of business. Well not in california. At 40% tax they can’t compete with joe’s corner dispencery.

That’s totally Cali to screw up dealing drugs....

When a liberal is in charge you can bet that they will muck up the works.
No way legal pot can compete with illegal pot.

Not when your taxable and non-taxable are so far apart.

There's a lot more Nuance to it than that simplistic view. The Fed's have had a big hand in keeping things more underground.

There are so many regulations on the growers themselves that The supply will not be able to keep up. I have heard it is a crap shoot from many farmers that thought about changing their cash crop over.

yep, one of my SCI friends from Sacramento was telling me that the uncertainty of how things would work for farmers was sketchy and may had no idea how or when to proceed. I hope they get it figured out as it ever gets to Texas or Louisiana i have some prime land ready to geaux into production...........but hopefully on the pharmacological side!!!
