Rustic Cabinet pulls/knobs for Barndo... ???

Anyone know a cheaper than HD or Lowes place to buy rustic pulls? Didn't realize they'd be $5+ EA! Gonna need at least 60.
The new Barndo is getting closer and closer to done!

Antler Burrs

You can get them for $2 each average. Shop eBay and type in Antler Burr. There is a seller that has 40 or so now available. All different listings added up. He will combine shipping and save. If you go this route and need more I can cut some up.

Ive done a couple with antlers as well. But I just cut a section of the antler either from the base, where two points come together etc. It may be redneck but I just drill a hole in the back and glue a 1/4x20 in it and mount with washer and nylock

That's what I was thinking and going with. I cut and milled my own oak lumber and am making rustic cabinets for the bathrooms in my barndo. Will route a groove or finger pull in the bottoms so handle/knobs are not needed.


I am liking the checks/knots/burl and mineral streaks in this oak. Here are a couple samples I made for the wife.

Finger grooves.

The cabinets will have finger pulls cut but my wife thinks she wants TX Star knobs..... too!

Old RR spikes. Cut about an inch long, drill and tap the back side. Time is money.
