    Smoked pork loin and jap poppers

    On with my Traeger journey. Today.....I’m changing up what I’ve been doing to tinker with the amount of smoke. I’ve realized if you preheat the smoker to above 250*, then set it to smoke and add your food you get more smoke from the process and the temp stays a consistent 199-201*.

    I’ve also got my pellet tray in there but that’s a fail safe lol. Tomorrow I’m doing chickens again I think then ribs on Sunday. Oh. And I’m going to get an apple pie smoked tomorrow.

            Hah I guess that does look bad but I’m no way did I mean it that way.

            I’m absolutely enjoying the crap out of this smoker. It’s not the baddest in the bunch but it’s been great with a few modifications and some studying. I’m going for A LOT more smoke on my chickens tomorrow and I just bought a new bag of post oak pellets.

              Looking good. Bacon is starting to sizzle so I turned up the heat to 350*

                  I mentioned to somebody today about the book featuring my great uncle in WW2 where he killed a bunch of Japs. Somebody said that was racist. I said it was an abbreviation.

                      Lol I’m stuffed. I cooked garlic bread too and garlic mashed potatoes. Now I’m ready for bed lol.

                              If you like smoked pork loin and poppers you should defiantly try stuffing the pork loin with a mix of cream cheese, diced jalapenos, and bacon bits then wrap the entire loin with bacon and smoke for 2.5-3hrs. My favorite way to eat pork loin by far!
