    OH Ivie 2019 Hunting Thread

    My group and I just got new lease on the north end of Ivie right where the Colorado runs into the lake. I'd like this thread include pics,stories and any other thoughts or info about the area including Coleman,Runnels and Concho county so if hunt anywhere remotely close please join in will get 2019 started off.

    I’d be tempted to skip the hunting and go bass fishing myself. There are some whoppers in there.

            It's crazy just since the first trip to this lease it's gone from %15 full to almost %50 full just in the last couple months.

                I hunt in north Coleman county and south brown/north mills county. I’m Coleman county my brother took his biggest to date a 153” and brown/mills it was very slow for us this year.

                        Can’t remember road number it’s off the county road that crosses the big bridge over the Colorado up there.

                          I gotcha ! Our west fence is 6.25 miles east of that Bridge . According to google earth. Y'all ever kill any good Deer ?

                            30s-40s pretty regular. I think 50s was biggest I heard of. No feeding back then.

                              We just got back from the new lease after setting up corn and protein feeders and getting them going in some permanent spots we had a great trip and seen some really good deer . And on our last trip down we just put out a couple of random feeders with cameras on them just to see what we could and even though we didn't get any pics of any monsters We were pretty pleased .Click image for larger version
