    Wyoming Mountain Lion

Had the opportunity to travel to Wyoming for a lion hunt. Several things I learned.

    1. I am out of shape.
    2. Those mountains are very hard to climb.
    3. Thank goodness for dogs.
    4. Have to find tracks to find lions.
    5. I am out of shape.
    6. They are much bigger than anticipated.
    7. I am out of shape.

Hunted hard, started every morning at 6:00 am, back at camp around 4 PM.
Traveled several hundred miles by UTV, truck and UTV with tracks. Saw lots of Mule deer, Elk and a few Moose.

On the last day of the hunt, guide found a fresh track, put the dogs on it and ended up with this big guy in a tree.

Wow, that's a hoss of a lion. How much did he weigh?

BTW, the meat is fantastic! We made burgers out of my dads, but I have heard backstraps are fantastic.
