    Passed a BIG Kansas buck

This is the biggest deer I've ever passed. He came in on two consecutive hunts. I had to call my son and have him "talk me off the ledge" after the second time. This is the third year in a row that we've seen him and I believe he's only 5. We just negotiated a new 10 year lease and we could really use the genes after EHD hit us in 2013. Also we don't get a lot of pressure. So with another good growth year, I believe he'll make the book. I don't know how much this deer weighs but he's the largest deer I've seen in 14 years up there.

That is a great buck!! Pure 6x6 like him are few and far in between. I would say less than 1% of the bucks are 12’s like him.
Hope he makes it till next year.
    What zone are you in?

I'd have to be in your exact situation before I'd consider passing that one.

Wow. You are a much better property manager than I. If I let that buck walk on my place, he would be dead in less than an hour courtesy of 1 of my five neighbors that abut to my land. Hope he spreads lots of good genes for you.

Nice buck. I bet you’ll be happy you passed him when you kill him in a year or two

Man hes a beast. So thick. Wow. I couldn't of done that. But then again I've only killed one deer.

I bet when he hung up the phone he grabbed his bow and headed north.
